#CorbanStrong!
On the afternoon of August 24, 2024, Corban Phillips sustained a broken neck while practicing gymnastics, a sport that was a passion of his. Corban lost feeling in much of his body and despite a successful surgery and several months at a rehab hospital in Colorado, Corban remains paralyzed from the waist down. We heard of Corban’s story from several sources and after meeting them, we were so touched by Corban’s parents, Matt and April, and sister, Caelyn, who displayed such great strength and determination in helping Corban grow stronger each day. Their Christian faith was inspiring as they entrusted Corban to the Lord for healing and offered deep hearts of gratitude towards all those helping lift them in prayer and provide financial support for them. Through the generosity of our beautiful donors, we were able to gift Corban with a handicap accessible van from Superior Van and Mobility. Caelyn made a special key chain for Corban and Fr. Richard Doerr, pastor of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church came out to bless Corban, his family and his new van!
